Thank you so much for sending me the photos of Dad. I thought the Summer party was a great success and although Dad wasn't able to join in fully we both had a very relaxed and happy afternoon together eating delicious food and sipping Pimms. He even managed a little smile for Miss Oxfordshire. Thank you to you and all the staff who care for him and for your efforts in including him in the life of Merryfield. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the support and kindness which is shown to me each and every week when I visit Dad. It is very hard seeing my wonderful father gradually decline, now a mere shadow of the man he used to be. Your friendship and concern mean a great deal to me.
