Two Prestigious National Awards Won at Peverel court care

We are thrilled and deeply honoured to announce that Peverel Court Care has been recognised with not one, but two prestigious national awards, celebrating the exceptional standard of care we provide across our homes. 

Peverel Court Care Group has been awarded a place in the Top 20 Small Care Home Groups in the UK, whilst Merryfield Nursing Home in Witney has been individually recognised as one of the Top 20 Care Homes in the region. The carehome.co.uk Top 20 Care Home Awards 2026 recognises the top-rated care homes in each region of the UK. The awards are based on reviews received from residents, service users and their families. These achievements are a testament to the dedication, compassion and unwavering commitment of our entire team and the trust placed in us by our residents and their families. 

As a family-run care group with over 30 years of experience, we have always believed that exceptional care goes beyond simply meeting needs. It’s about creating warm and supportive environments where residents feel valued, respected and at home. 

Our staff work tirelessly to provide not only professional, exceptional care, but also companionship, kindness and reassurance, ensuring every resident is treated with dignity. Merryfield Nursing Home is celebrating a particularly proud milestone with this recognition. From the moment someone walks through our doors, we take the time to understand each resident’s life story, preferences, routines and interests, ensuring care is truly personalised. 

This Cotswold manor house, built in 1922 and converted into a private residential nursing home, may be the smallest of our care homes in size, but it is bursting with character and charm. Our staff are equipped to provide the very best care for residents with a wide range of needs, from general nursing and care assistance to specialised care for specific illnesses or ailments. 

These awards bring a deep sense of pride to our teams as they recognise the heart they bring to their roles each day and their consistent commitment to going above and beyond for our residents. 

Most importantly, however, these achievements belong to the residents and families who place their trust in us. We are incredibly grateful for their support which has made this recognition possible. These awards are as much theirs as they are ours.
