Thank you so much for sending me the photos of Dad. I thought the Summer party was a great success and although Dad wasn't able to join in fully we both had a very relaxed and happy afternoon together eating delicious food and sipping Pimms. He even managed a little smile for Miss Oxfordshire. Thank you to you and all the staff who care for him and for your efforts in including him in the life of Merryfield. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the support and kindness which is shown to me each and every week when I visit Dad. It is very hard seeing my wonderful father gradually decline, now a mere shadow of the man he used to be. Your friendship and concern mean a great deal to me. I feel my father is a real part of the community at Merryfield and whilst he is still with us, I feel a part of that community too. With very best wishes and thank you again. Jane T (Daughter of Resident/Service User) on Wednesday 29 July 2015,
I find Merryfields to be a happy, friendly home with caring staff that have worked there for a long time. The home is always cleaned to a very high standard and nothing is too much trouble. It is always nice to be greeted by happy smiling staff. Fiona T (Friend of Resident/Service User) on Saturday 16 May 2015,
We highly recommend the above care home. Every single member of staff is totally committed to making my aunt as comfortable and happy as possible. Without Merryfields caring staff and warm ambiance I doubt whether my aunt would have reached her 100th birthday. Needless to say, all the staff got together to give her a wonderful party with a delicious buffet, beautiful cake, singing, dancing and a gorgeous book of memorable photographs.. Roger R (Nephew of Resident/Service User) on Tuesday 20 January 2015,
